IMS Marine Analytical & Plasma Analytical Laboratories

The Marine Analytical Laboratory is a central lab complex located within the Earth & Marine Sciences Building, and is an open-access, multi-user core facility operated by the Institute of Marine Sciences with support from the UCSC Division of Physical and Biological Sciences. The facility is available to the UCSC and University of California marine- and coastal-research community, and also welcomes researchers from other disciplines as well as external researchers with active collaborations with IMS-researchers (subject to approval).

The Plasma Analytical Lab facility is housed within the Marine Analytical Laboratory, and is an open-access, multi-user, recharge-based core facility managed by Dr. Brian Dreyer, with additional support from Instrument Engineer, Dan Sampson, of the Earth & Planetary Sciences Department. The facility is available to the UCSC and University of California research community, and also welcomes external researchers and collaborations.
